Actually, i would not be surprised that this is how the actual place looks like.
With applications taking YEARS! to process(!!) one can only wonder what goes on in there.
Unfortunately, no one cares about the educated, legal immigrants. Just imagine what would happen if getting a driver license from your local DMV would take 7 months.

great video. i currently am in the process of bring my fiancée here form the Philippines. That is exactly how it seems to be. no help, no answers and always kept in the dark. it take 6 months to approve a packet that takes 15 minutes to review

This is great..I think, as a victim of USCIS, I'd go even further. I know that they cannot possibly match humans to that paperwork because if they could, they could not be as horrible and rude as they are.

"Subtle"... lol but for being painstakingly point-pushing -which it was- not a bad video. in an overdramatized fashion, it certainly illustrates the real-world problems that plague the department of the Immigration and Nationalization Service, although I've heard that employees really do make an effort to work with what they've got. Your point is well taken that immigration laws are stuck in a time warp. But that's Congress' fault, not the employees of CIS. They have to follow the laws on the books. If we want change, we've got to get Congress to act.
