Blame Sony for not having good enough online for PS3, that's why Namco went to the 360.
Oh and by the way, there was one Ace Combat that came out after 5, that was exclusive to GBA.

Aside from bad voice actors The translations are horribly written and very impractical in English. Very common in Asian games, probably the biggest cause for Final Fantasy not being as popular in the US even just written translations are bad, and other than all the guys are cliché-ishly or queerly dressed and have perms. But the music and cut scenes are good.
