The public industries had been starved of cash for decades and the level of investment needed could not be met without huge tax increases. the only solution was to let private industry take them over. If this was such and issue how come no party wants to re nationalise??? Labour have gone even further and the new hospitals have been built with private money. NHS dentistry doesnt really exist...

Currently in the UK the unemployment figure is 1.8 million

The real shame is that we have squandered our oil wealth and been left with no long term benefit. Norway has for the last 12 years been setting aside some of its oil revenue into a trust fund, currently it is worth some £130 billion.
Why didn't Brown do the same. Also he increased the tax from 10% to 20% on North sea oil firms in 2005.

We are still suffering from the way she sold off UK assets on the cheap. And in howthe UK became a much more lawless and desperate place under the Tories.

Sold 3G licence vodafone alone paid £13bn
sold 400 tonnes of gold ( very cheap )£2.3bn losing £6bn at todays prices.

tax rates high
core industries gone
Is a direct result of their policies.

Cameron makes me laugh. He always goes too far when he is told to. Many politicians wouldnt like to be seen behaving the way he does. Which is why he was chosen to be leader of course.
