This has to be the best rock album before grunge flooded out this kind of music. It is really to bad because Extreme was getting good.

He usually plays his own signature Washburn N4. I had an N2 and it sounds exactly like this if you have a tube amp that is.
They have a lot of good songs off each album, but this album has the most good songs. Now as far as guitar solos, that would be a different story. But these are well written songs and Nuno pretty much plays the same style with a different sound and of course much slower and emotional. Took me a while, but comparatively the production is much better toned down on 3sides.

The Grunge crap had already taken over when this came out....it was one of the only "great" rock records for the time...the others being Billy Squier's "Tell The Truth" which got no air play....And Def Leppard's "slang" But I agree that Extreme is a fantastic band and this record really set a new standard.... I saw them play for this tour in Tulsa and they were the best sounding band I've ever seen....

dude, soundgarden was not crap. Pearl jam was not crap. Alice in chains was not crap. Yes all those other knock off-"grunge" bands sucked but the originals did not suck.
