*Earlier Locke mentioned that Ben and his crew are Pharisees, or Jews that flourished during the Second Temple, I think that Jacob had some conflict with technology in that there was none until the Dharma Initiative arrived and that Jacob may be having some sort of time and space issues and needs Lockes help. Its weird how Ben lights a lantern just as he did before moving the island and that if you pause it then you see Jacob sitting in the chair with similar cloths to what Richard was wearing when he met Ben at a kid. Also there being six jars in the window, one of which is smaller than the rest which could represent the Oceanic Six with Aaron being the small jar; the painting of the dog was also one of the few things that was illuminated in the cabin, which of course can be linked to Vincent.
*Ben mentions that he shot Locke because he heard Jacob. Once again Ben is trying everything that he can to prevent Locke from any further inquiries about the secrets of the island and that maybe if Locke really knew what was going on that Ben would become obsolete. Another thought is that Ben has something to do with Jacobs condition and he needs Lockes help to be set free. Later Ben has an epiphany in that no matter what he did that he could not kill Locke if he wanted to, the island wouldnt let him because his mission was not complete. Its also weird that Jacob was able to talk to Ben with out Locke hearing and talk to Locke without Ben hearing, which reminds me of the movie Frequency where the voice of ghost could only be heard on the proper frequency.
*Of course Faraday is upset because the events that are leading up to some very bad events, as Jack stated that Locke told him after the Oceanic Six left, are starting to take place. Faraday has also done some mental time traveling of his own and has Desmond as his constant in that Desmond asked him about his head being exposed to the rays from the machine, which Faraday himself says can cause someone to jump mentally in time.
*As mentioned in earlier video notes, Miles uses the sound of the vacuum to make the spirit of the dead grandson of the old lady weak. This was prevalent in that the smoke monster was unable to pass through or over the sonic fence. Miles was also able to know what happen to Naomi, Rousseau, and Karl. Miles is also aware that Charlotte has ties to the island, which is information that he has derived from the past spirits of the island. Keep in mind that there are other Dharma Stations around the world. Miles seemed the most afraid of the Smoke Monster as I have mentioned that it is the ghost of the slaves from the Black Rock ship.
*Once again it has been confirmed that there are other Dharma Stations around the world. The skeleton has the same symbol on its collar as what was on the podium of the judging room for the execution of Juliette. As Tom mentioned to Sawyer, the polar bears were able to get the food from the cage a lot faster than Sawyer. Its weird that the skeleton of the bear is laying the same way the bear that Sawyer shot in the first season.
*Lepidus was suppose to be the original pilot of Oceanic Flight 815, but as Naomi mentioned when she was given the line up by Matthew Abaddon of the people who were going on the mission to the island, she stated that Lepidus was a drunk. This is probably what prevented him from being coherent to fly that day. Also this proves that Ben staged the plane crash that was discovered. *This is the (MOST IMPORTANT) thing that Faraday states about the light not scattering right.
*The reason that I stated that Faraday stating that the light does not scatter quit right is that he uses a purple light source to un-stick the rat in the lab, which makes the rat able to time travel. As we know, the island has a similar light shining on it that allows it to become un-stuck in time. This is prevalent with the sky turning purple, twice, and the bad numbers 4 8 15 16 23 42 having some connection with the numbers that Desmond tells Faraday to set his device to in order for the un-sticking machine to work and have the rat travel forward in time.
*The Black Rock set sail from England on March 22, 1845 on a trading mission to the kingdom of Siam, when she was tragically lost at sea. The only known artifact of this journey is the journal of the ships first mate, which was discovered among the artifacts of pirates off IIe Sainte Marie Madagascar seven years later. The contents of this journal have never been made public nor made known to anyone outside the family of the seller, Tovar Hanso. Dharma Initiative founder Alvor Hanso is related to Tovar Hanso. THE JOURNAL IS WHAT BEN STOLE FROM WHITMORE AND CONTAINS ALL OF THE SECRETS OF THE ISLAND THAT TOVAR DISCOVERED WHEN THEIR SHIP CRASHED. Is Tovar, the first mate of the Black Rock, really Jacob?, we know that Locke goes by two different names now.

And there may not be any why to it, it just may be..
I dont see how one thing explains the other..
